Location Ask yourself these questions:
Most showers are given in the hostess's home, however the home of the bride's mother, relative, or friend is also fine. Also consider a restaurant, outdoor recreation area, or hotel banquet room depending on the size of your group. A house with an average sized dining, living, and family room can accomodate about 40 people. Be sure to rearrange your furniture to avoid traffic jams and encourage lots of mingling. As in proper Feng Shui, make sure you don't have pointy furniture jutting out at guests. If you are serving a meal, make sure you have enough seating! If you have chosen a theme for you bridal shower, consider choosing a location that enhances that theme. A Hawaiian luau at the local beach or a Victorian tea party at a historical Bed & Breakfast.
